Ancaster House

Ancaster House is a Grade II listed residence in Mayfair, transformed into a single luxury home through one of London’s most ambitious architectural redevelopments. The project united two historic buildings into a grand, modern masterpiece for billionaire John Caudwell.

Rocco Borghese Chandeliers was appointed to design and supply the custom lighting for this exceptional property. Working closely with the project architects and interior designers, our team created bespoke chandeliers and sculptural glass pieces that respected the heritage of the building while introducing contemporary elegance.

Every lighting element was individually conceived and hand-crafted in Italy using traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques combined with modern engineering. The design process involved months of development — sketching, modelling, and refining details to achieve perfect balance, proportion, and luminosity.

From the sweeping staircase chandelier to the spa and pool installations, each fitting was tailored to its environment. We integrated hidden LED systems to enhance the architectural features while maintaining a timeless aesthetic consistent with the classical-modern design language of the interiors.
